Ladakh  The land of High Passes. It is a part of State of Jammu & Kashmir in India. It is situated between the Karakoram mountain range and  the Himalayas.  We can reach ladakh by various way’s like air or road ways. We can use Zoji-La pass & Kargil route from J&K and High Altitude Manali- Leh Highway From Manali. The road from Manali open only from June to October or November The road from J&K open from April to November.

The Leh airport i.e. Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport at leh has various flights from delhi; Jet Airways, GoAir & Air India are the air carriers who operates flights in Leh. Cancellation of flights or the delays are very common things if you are travelling through air from leh, So traveler must plan their onwords journey accordingly.

Roads of Ladakh are open all year long except Zangskar.  khardung-la pass to Nubra Has an alternate day schedule, is closed Mondays and can get closed by snow for several day in winter & spring. Chang-La Pass to Panggon lake rarely closes, and if it does,rarely for more than one day.

Buses and taxies are available in Leh & Kargil town. Shared Taxies are available for Nubra, Kargil, Zangskar etc.
